March is the beloved Air Max Month and Nike has been giving us nothing but fire all month long. There's a sneaker for everyone as well: the flashy, the runner, the soccer mom, dope girl, you name it.
What makes this Air Max takeover so stellar is the fact that this year, Nike celebrates Air Max's 30th anniversary. Air Max Day is Monday, March 26 and Sean Wotherspoon's design of the Air Max 1/97 will be released on this day. Wotherspoon is a well-known vintage, sole collector and a lover of the 80s.
The Air Max 1/97 is a hybrid of the 1 and 97 which are two of Air Max's most popular styles. Next to Wotherspoon's creation are an abundance of Airs, some old and some new.
